Explanation
of Changes
Over the last year I
have run across quite a
few incidents of bandwidth theft. To be more specific, I
have come upon more than just a few auction listings where customers
and
non-customers have been using the music embed code from my templates on
templates and pages created by someone else.
Today I actually had a
customer email me
asking for help with a situation, sending me a link to someone else's
template with 2 elements of my template intermingled, one of which was
a music embed code.
Of all of the expense
that is generated from
hosting files for my templates, the cost of hosting music files is by
far the most costly. Thus, I have been forced to make a hard
choice.
Knowing that only a few
people are stealing my
bandwidth, I do not feel comfortable raising prices on EVERYONE to
cover the costs of that. So instead, as of May 1, 2008, I will be
renaming all of the music files from my hosting accounts as alternative
file names for my own personal use only.
I am still happy to help
you find the music
you want to enhance your listings, and send you those files free of
charge. You can find the code to add this music to your pages in
my helpful html section here on Kuntry
Koncepts. I am also happy
to help you host the songs on your own personal website, free of
charge. If you do not have a website, we have a link to
playlist.com in our resources section here on Kuntry Koncepts,
where
you can choose songs and create entire playlists to add to your
listings.
I apologize in advance
for any inconvenience
this may cause you. But this situation makes this change
necessary.
Sincerely,
Larisa
